I've SO been enjoying the farm calls that I have been doing. aka private photo sessions on location. I have been trying to squeeze every last bit of sun out of October as the light is so yummy for photos. From graduating senior portraits so lovely and sweet, to portraits of wise old senior horses to stallion studies with all of the bravado to catch through my lens. Oh, and Fall color and soft sunlight. Its the best time of year for photography in my opinion.
Surprisingly, November and December are not that bad for portraiture either if you can find a day where it is not raining. Overcast is good light for saturating colors and allowing me to often choose my backgrounds without having to bow to the bright sun. Less shadows too. Bare trees can provide a great mood to accompany your horse and perhaps you, with your Fall/Winter outfits.
I also provide gift certificates which are popular for holiday gift giving. They can be good for a large print, or a photo session.
