I thought things would slow down after the conclusion of horse show season, but I've been incredibly busy with a variety of private photo sessions on locations. The softer sunlight and beautiful color of the leaves make it my most favorite time of year to do portrait sessions.

I visited the Region 6 Dressage Championships to practice a bit of video techniques with my SLR camera and since I wasn't working, I indulged in a little fun creating some blur images of honor rounds. (photo below)

I also was the official photographer for the Charlotte Dujardin clinic at DevonWood and covered the event for Flying Changes.

What a great clinic! Look for a story by Lauren Baker and photographs by me in the next issue of Flying Changes Magazine.

My friend Tory Kelly made a documentary film, her first, titled From Corrals to Competition and entered it in the Equus Film Festival to be held in NYC.  It was accepted!  So in November Tory, myself and one of the stars of the show horse trainer, Stacey Riggs will travel to NYC to attend the film fest. Really looking forward to it!

Hoping the weather holds out for a few more farm calls that must be scheduled and then looking forward to some down time to catch up with life at home.

Enjoy the cooler temps and remember, its okay if it rains for a day or two here and there, just so  we get a few sunny days inbetween.
